Falcor's Angels is the first ever deaf Mainecoon cat breeding program to purposely breed deaf Mainecoon service kittens.
Our Meow Mission:
To give deaf Mainecoon service kitties to veterans and disabled families.
Cats have a natural calming and healing ability, and even more so when bonded with a human in need. Helping veterans with their ptsd is a natural fit for these service animals and we want to give to them back some more freedom. We want to help as many disabled families as we can, and we especially see a need for those suffering from seizures. Like this cat dad does meow, but with Falcor's help they are far fewer.
Cats purrs are said to match our nervous system frequencies, and Mainecoon cats have a bigger purr and more vibration than other breeds helping to maintain a calmer & less anxious person. Their extremely silky soft fur helps to immediately relax anyone petting them, and their big paws are a gentle reminder to take every step of the day with cautious energy as a disabled person. Their huge size is like having a giant fluffy weighted blanket that purrs and gently vibrates you to sleep every night.
Mainecoons are often sought for their longer life expectancies and adventurous spirit, and are widely known for their casual demeanor around other animals and people. Making them much more than the average house cat or family pet being naturally leash friendly.
